Referee Training

I have had some interest in referee training so I've decided to offer this at
SWA. Refereeing is an important skill, and there are a lot of bad referees
out there. Since there isn't enough interest to offer a separate course for
this I've decided to incorporate referee training into my regular sessions.

If you are interested in training to become a referee, you will need to attend
the last 4 weeks of any of the regular training sessions. By that time in the
session students will be having matches and doing drills that will require
a referee, and I will be able to train you as a ref during that period.

Referees will still need to be 18 years of age or older, and be willing to sign a
liability waiver. Cost for referee training is $1000 and there will be a maximum
two referee students per session. A $200 deposit will secure a spot in a session.
